Martha Stewart’s American Made Market

October 16-17, 2013, 8:30AM to 7PM
Vanderbilt Hall

Long before “handmade” and “artisanal” became the buzzwords of the day, Martha Stewart was among the first to celebrate the very best artisans, crafters, and designers in the country. She has also helped to launch many careers by celebrating excellence in these areas, and is a major force behind a resurgence of interest in small businesses and the products and services they offer. “American Made,” is a one-of-a-kind public artisanal fair and multimedia celebration that spotlights the maker, supports the local, and celebrates the handmade. It’s a movement made up of people and communities who have turned their passion for quality craftsmanship and well-designed goods into a way of life.

For two days, Martha Stewart Living will transform New York’s Grand Central Terminal Vanderbilt Hall into the American Made Market. This is where you will meet, learn from, and be inspired by fellow makers from around the country. They’ll showcase the season’s best artisanal and handmade crafts, gifts, foods, gardens, projects, and designs. You’re invited to stop by and join the magazine’s editors, experts, and the American Made Awards winners – See you then!
