Zaro’s Celebrates 40 Years in Grand Central June 8, 12pm to 6pm – Zaro’s is celebrating its 40th anniversary at Grand Central Terminal with an interactive pastry party in Vanderbilt Hall. People are invited to decorate cupcakes, try the bagel toss and dance in the Black & White Cookie Lounge. Homemade pretzels and freshly popped popcorn will be available for 40 cents.

Applications for the 2017 Grand Central Holiday Fair – Through June 9 – Artisans are invited to submit an application online to be considered for this year’s Grand Central Holiday Fair. The focus of the Holiday Fair is on handmade merchandise crafted in the U.S. All applications will be considered but merchandising consultants are primarily interested in the following categories: men’s accessories, tabletop, children’s, home décor, pottery, glassware, art, photography, and food. Aveda Now open – The Aveda Experience Center in the Lexington Passage features a plethora of opportunities for consumers to self-navigate their way through different areas of interest, including men’s and women’s haircare, skincare, makeup, body care, and aroma. At the Experience Center, consumers will also enjoy many experiences, including self- or advisor-led hair styling tutorials, wellness rituals, or an aroma sensory journey.

– Gerber Group has reopened The Campbell bar and outdoor terrace after a complete restoration of the historic space. Located directly off of Vanderbilt Avenue, adjacent to Cipriani Dolci, The Campbell features an expansive collection of spirits, wines, and locally brewed craft beers. Gerber Group’s selections of classic and modern cocktails that highlight fresh ingredients are complemented by a menu of elevated bar fare. diptyque – Now open – After two years of operating as a pop-up shop in Grand Central Terminal, the brand has opened its doors to an official boutique within the station. This will be diptyque’s 6th New York City location and the 19th store in the US. This boutique will be the first U.S. location to embody the most recent design concept from the brand, while drawing inspiration from Grand Central’s iconic design. Staying true to the brand’s ethos, the aesthetic will be simple and elegant to allow guests to pause and allow their senses to escape for a moment before heading onwards to their next destination.

Grand Central RewardsThrough June 30  – Grand Central Terminal’s popular loyalty shopping and dining rewards program returns for the entire month of June, providing visitors with the opportunity to earn limited-edition prizes as they dine, grab coffee, and shop for summer essentials. This year, the program introduces a new and improved way to redeem purchases for prizes with a digital receipt tracker on gctrewards.com. Shoppers who submit at least $50 in receipts from shops and restaurants in four zones of the Terminal can redeem for Grand Central gifts. For a $50 spend, participants will receive two notebooks featuring historic images of the Terminal; for a $100 spend, shoppers get a constellation-printed beach towel; for a $150 spend, shoppers receive a Grand Central backpack.

Father’s DayThrough June 18 – Grand Central’s shops are celebrating Father’s Day with gifts and sales to make dad feel special. Cards are available at Cursive, Papyrus, P!Q and Rite Aid; sweaters and ties at vineyard vines, Banana Republic and the Lazyjack Press kiosk; pampering essentials at The Art of Shaving, Origins and Aveda; and brunch and dinner options at Grand Central’s fine dining restaurants, including Great Northern Food Hall’s The Restaurant and Michael Jordan’s The Steak House NYC. June Holiday Specials ­– June 15 and 21 – Pescatore Seafood celebrates National Lobster Day with free tastings of all their lobster offerings from 2pm to 7pm on June 15. Oyster Bar is celebrating National Selfie Day with a chance to win a $100 gift certificate for best selfies taken at the restaurant on June 21.

MTA eTix – This FREE app allows Metro-North Railroad customers to purchase train tickets anytime, anywhere with their mobile devices. The app, available for both iPhone and Android, is now available to all Metro-North customers on the Hudson, Harlem, and New Haven Lines. Official MAS Guided Tours of Grand CentralDaily at 12:30pm – MTA Metro-North Railroad has teamed up with The Municipal Art Society of New York (MAS) and Orpheo Inc. to provide daily docent-guided tours of the Terminal. The 75-minute tour highlights the history, architecture, and operation of one of the world’s largest train terminals. Tickets are $25 for adults, $20 for seniors, students, children under 10, members of the military, Metro-North riders with same-day ticket stubs, and MAS members. Private and group tours also can be arranged. Grand Central Terminal Audio ToursDaily from 9am to 6pm – Available in “local” (one-hour) and “express” (30-minute) versions, this self-paced tour focuses on the architectural highlights of the Terminal, its secrets, famous visitors, and sometimes turbulent history. The tour is available at specially marked “GCT Tour” windows in the Main Concourse and downloadable on mobile devices. Audio tours are $9 for adults and $7 for seniors, military, students, and kids.
