Grand Central Expands Annual “Taste of the Terminal” with More Vendors, Free Samples and a Place for Visitors to Escape the Summer Heat
WHAT:
Grand Central’s annual “Taste of the Terminal” event turns five years old this year with a reboot on July 11-13. For four years, excited customers turned out in droves to receive free samples from a rotating cast of four vendors. Due to the event’s popularity, Grand Central has expanded “Taste of the Terminal” into the full Vanderbilt Hall event space and will now feature 10 vendors each day along with cocktail tables to encourage visitors to stay and take a break from the summer heat.
Bien Cuit, Central Cellars, Juice Press, and Shake Shack are among the expanded list of vendors that will give away free sample sizes of croissants, wine, smoothies, cold-brew coffee, fries, chocolates, and more, while supplies last.
In addition, Latin fusion, jazz, and classical string musicians from Music Under New York will provide live musical performances.
