Events
National Beer Day – April 7 – Celebrate National Beer Day by stopping by one of the many participating shops and restaurants for a cold one. Art Bird & Whiskey Bar will have a three-beer flight special for $20, with local beer flights of Sixpoint Sweet Action, Blue Point Toasted Lager, and Captain Lawrence Pilsner. Beer Table will offer 20 percent off all draught fills from Friday, April 5 to Sunday, April 7. Central Market New York will have $3 draft beers available all day, and Grand Central Oyster Bar & Restaurant will include their Flying Dog “Doggy Style” Pale Ale as part of their happy hour at $6.25. La Chula will be celebrating with 50 percent off all beers, Tartinery will offer $3 beers with any food menu purchase, and Zaro’s Family Bakery will offer $1 off any beer through the Zaro’s app.

Easter – Throughout April – Grand Central Terminal retailers will be celebrating Easter this month with festive retail and food offerings. Vineyard Vines will have a collection of fun printed shirts, ties, tees, and belts for the holiday. Visitors can also stop by Neuhaus Belgian Chocolate, Jacques Torres Chocolate, and Li-Lac Chocolates for delicious chocolate bunnies, eggs, and other treats, or Ceriello Fine Foods to pick up prime American lamb chops for dinner.
Passover – Throughout April – Preparing for Passover is made easy at Grand Central Terminal, with a variety of traditional Passover items available at Grand Central Market. Bien Cuit’s Passover special is their Coconut Rocher, a coconut macaroon cookie. Ceriello Fine Foods will be selling a prime first cut brisket, and Eli Zabar’s Bread & Pastry will celebrate with coconut and almond macaroons, along with a Passover sweets crate complete with all the traditional sweets for the table.
New Shopping Specials – Throughout April – Shoppers who are looking to score major deals can stop by the Terminal for a one-stop shopping experience. The Art of Shaving is offering a complimentary $60 fragrance with a purchase of $125 or more, Central Watch is offering $200 off any vintage watch in-store, Diptyque has a special $130 Cuir + Violette boutique exclusive candle pairing, and Cursive has special blown glass cloches.

MTA eTix – This free app allows Metro-North Railroad customers to purchase train tickets anytime, anywhere with their mobile devices. The app, available for both iPhone and Android, is available to all Metro-North customers on the Hudson, Harlem, and New Haven Lines. For more information, visit the website here.
Official MAS Guided Tours of Grand Central – Daily at 12:30pm – MTA Metro-North Railroad has teamed up with The Municipal Art Society of New York (MAS) and Orpheo Inc. to provide daily docent-guided tours of the Terminal. The 75-minute tour highlights the history, architecture, and operation of one of the world’s largest train terminals. Tickets are $30 for adults, $20 for seniors, students, children, members of the military, Metro-North riders with same-day ticket stubs, and MAS members. Official Grand Central Terminal Audio Tours – Daily from 9am to 6pm – Available in “local” (one-hour) and “express” (30-minute) versions, this self-paced tour focuses on the architectural highlights of the Terminal, its secrets, famous visitors, and sometimes turbulent history. The tour is available at the GCT Tours window in the Main Concourse across from Track 30. Audio tours are $9 for adults and $7 for seniors, military, students, and kids. Languages include English, French, Spanish, Italian, German, Mandarin Chinese, and Japanese. No reservations needed. Information is available at https://www.grandcentralterminal.com/tours/.
