Jet Set Candy – Opening July – The travel-inspired jewelry company moves into the Lexington Passage this month. The store offers a line of premium travel souvenirs with each piece in their collectible, destination-specific line thoughtfully designed and meticulously crafted in quality sterling silver, 14k vermeil, or solid gold.
LoveThyBeast – Opening July – This pet accessory and lifestyle brand is opening its third full-scale retail location this month in the Lexington Passage. Inspired by pet needs in an overtly metropolitan city, LoveThyBeast carries totes to canine wear, and everything in between.

Independence Day – Throughout July – Grand Central Terminal is commemorating Independence Day with a variety of specials and promotions at select vendors. Shoppers can visit Bien Cuit to pick up their traditional blueberry rhubarb frangipane tart for $45, then head to Café Grumpy for some cold brew concentrate at $16 for 32 oz. Central Cellars will be celebrating with a red, white and berry Smirnoff, which tastes like cherry, lime, and blueberry. E.A.T Gifts will have July 4th party crackers and a special July 4th apron for $30 each. Frankie’s Dogs on the Go is introducing “Frankie Goes to America,” an all-beef hot dog with caramelized onions in a tomato sauce, sauerkraut, bacon, and yellow mustard on a potato bun.
National Fried Chicken Day – July 6 – Celebrate National Fried Chicken Day at Art Bird & Whiskey Bar in the Lower Level Dining Concourse with a special, two-for-one promotion. Customers can enjoy two of celebrity chef Art Smith’s signature buttermilk fried chicken sandwich for $11, or two of Chef Art’s Mix Box, which contains three pieces of fried chicken with a choice of a fixing and a cheddar biscuit for $17.
National Hot Dog Day – July 17 – Stop by Grand Central Terminal for a variety of unique takes on the traditional hot dog from several of the Terminal’s shops. Bien Cuit will be offering pain au lait hot dog buns, brioche-style buns to bring home for the perfect elevated hot dog. Danish Dogs will offer the New Yorker hot dog, a choice of beef, pork, or chicken sausage served with ketchup, mustard, and sauerkraut. Eli’s Bread & Pastry will have their brioche hot dog roll, pull-apart rolls perfect for a barbecue. Frankie’s Dogs on the Go also will be giving away a homemade chocolate chip cookie for free with the purchase of any Frankie’s hot dog.
MTA eTix – This free app allows Metro-North Railroad customers to purchase train tickets anytime, anywhere with their mobile devices. The app, available for both iPhone and Android, is available to all Metro-North customers on the Hudson, Harlem, and New Haven Lines. For more information, visit the website here.
Official MAS Guided Tours of Grand Central – Daily at 12:30pm – MTA Metro-North Railroad has teamed up with The Municipal Art Society of New York (MAS) and Orpheo Inc. to provide daily docent-guided tours of the Terminal. The 75-minute tour highlights the history, architecture, and operation of one of the world’s largest train terminals. Tickets are $30 for adults, $20 for seniors, students, children, members of the military, Metro-North riders with same-day ticket stubs, and MAS members. Official Grand Central Terminal Audio Tours – Daily from 9am to 6pm – Available in “local” (one-hour) and “express” (30-minute) versions, this self-paced tour focuses on the architectural highlights of the Terminal, its secrets, famous visitors, and sometimes turbulent history. The tour is available at the GCT Tours window in the Main Concourse across from Track 30. Audio tours are $12 for adults, $11 for students, and $10 for seniors and kids. Languages include English, French, Spanish, Italian, German, Mandarin Chinese, and Japanese. No reservations needed. Information is available at https://www.grandcentralterminal.com/tours/.
