Throughout our 107-year history, Grand Central Terminal has stood as a beacon of continuity, strength, and resiliency for all New Yorkers and all those who visit daily.

As our city enters a period of unprecedented times, Grand Central Terminal will continue to support our community and remain a beacon of strength. We are providing all our retail stores, cafes, and restaurants every possible assistance to enable them to continue operating and provide essential services and products to our community.

However, the health, safety, and well-being of those who visit and work at Grand Central Terminal is our top priority. Therefore, we will continue assisting our retailers and restaurants in implementing the latest federal and local government guidelines to help stem the spread of COVID-19.

These measures include temporary store closures, reduced store hours, limited occupancy levels, and take-out and delivery service compliance for our coffee shops, bars, and restaurants. Learn how to support them here.

Please continue to visit our website and social media for the latest operating updates. Metro-North services continue to operate in and out of Grand Central Terminal. For the latest train service updates, visit Metro-North social media (@mtamnr on Facebook and @MetroNorth on Twitter) and

Our thoughts are with those directly impacted by this crisis in New York City, the United States, and around the world. We hope you and your families stay safe and we look forward to welcoming you and our community back soon.
