Grand Central Cafe

Grand Central’s Coffee Shops & Bakeries invite visitors to enjoy National Coffee Day by transforming Vanderbilt Hall into a European-style plaza featuring vendors selling regular cups of coffee for just $1 as well as full-priced treats from Bien Cuit, Café Grumpy, Financier Patisserie, Great Northern Food Hall’s Brownsville Roasters, Irving Farm Coffee Roasters, Joe Coffee, Oren’s Daily Roast, Shake Shack, and Zaro’s Family Bakery. Visitors can also purchase a $5 flight of coffee to sample 4oz of each Grand Central coffee shop’s brew. Participating Grand Central merchants have selected and will donated 100% of coffee flight proceeds to Coffee Kids**.

Contributing to the coffeehouse atmosphere will be a reading lounge with library-inspired diversions and reading glasses from Warby Parker and flowers for sale from Dahlia. Throughout the day, attendees can enjoy a variety of musical acts from MTA Music, coffee talks, and demonstrations. See below for the full schedule.
