The summer is almost over so it is almost time to start drinking reds again. Nielson is the oldest vineyard in Santa Barbara. The region has a long growing season and a cool climate that gives the wine complex aromatics and a balanced acidity. The gravely soil adds an austere minerality and plush tanin expression. The wine spends 16 months in French Oak Barrels. This is one our favorite value light reds in Central Cellars.
