Josh Bach Ltd.
In 1995 Josh Bach left the advertising world and started a neckwear company in downtown Manhattan. Disenchanted by the boring men’s accessories market, he was determined to shake things up and introduced his first collection of 10 designs in early 1996. His silk designs gave men a wearable selection that appealed to their individuality, their sense of humor, their hobbies, and their professions. Fast forward, and Josh Bach is still the neckwear brand men and women choose when looking for unsurpassed quality in neckwear for themselves or gift-giving.
The world of Josh Bach is best defined as uncommon. His playful patterns feature interlocking Lego blocks, scientific formulas, or vintage world city maps, among other designs. Josh’s Escher-inspired design style comes from formal training in architecture, and it’s no coincidence that his patterns catch the eye of fashion and wardrobe stylists everywhere. Josh’s neckties have appeared in movies (on Brad Pitt in Fight Club), on television shows (Friends), in men’s and women’s magazines, on numerous other celebrities, talk show hosts, financial gurus, heads of corporations, CEOs, newscasters. And our fearless and stylish Governor Andrew Cuomo rocks Josh Bach “Signatures” and “Constitution” neckties in his press conferences.
Josh is a pioneer of “think locally” and has made his neckties in New York City, way before “Made in the USA” was the right thing. Josh Bach neckwear has been designed, produced, and hand-finished by New Yorkers since 1995.
