A yearlong trip around the world inspired Saskia to design jewelry using techniques and materials she discovered in her travels. With her husband Scott by her side, she continues to collect beads and precious metals from around the globe: exploring new places, meeting new people and embracing adventure. A part of the Grand Central Holiday Fair for many years, Saskia and Scott also have a studio and storefront located at Industry City, Brooklyn.
This year their holiday collection includes original designs created in their Brooklyn studio, imports sourced from around the globe, and their brand new DIY beading kits for all ages – bringing the SASKIA studio home to you. This holiday season we may not be able to be face to face with those we love, but the gift of jewelry offers a connection from afar; a way to send a hand to hold or warm hug while we’re apart.
