Grand Central Terminal is a major New York City destination for transportation, shopping, dining, fresh food, public events, and entertainment with over 750,000 visitors every day. The Terminal has more than 90 restaurants, retail stores, and food shops. Grand Central Madison â„¢

Grand Central Madison, newly opened in February, now brings LIRR train service into Grand Central. MTA is seeking operators to set up shop in one of twenty available Grand Central Madison retail kiosks/RMUs along Madison Concourse for a period of up to one year. The goal is to provide a high-quality retail amenity program for visitors while providing new opportunities for retailers to reach a new Grand Central audience.

Specialty Leasing

Grand Central Terminal offers specialty leasing programs and is currently accepting applications for our Graybar Passage Kiosks. We provide custom made kiosks measuring 8’ x 4’ which can feature shelves or a center grid. The six kiosks are located in the highly trafficked Graybar Passage. We offer three-month terms. Limited availability.

Operating hours of the kiosks are:

Monday–Friday, 8AM–8PM
Saturday, 10AM–8PM
Sundays are optional

FAQ

If I want to take pictures or video in Grand Central, will I need a permit?

Anyone is free to take pictures or video with a handheld consumer camera inside Grand Central. However if you will be using professional equipment, like a tripod, light, or stabilizer, or if you will be using the content for commercial purposes, you must obtain a permit from the MTA Filming & Events Department. Please visit here for more information, and allow at least one week in advance of the date you wish to shoot, or more, depending on the scope of your request.

 

 

There may be additional licensing and fee requirements if you will be using the resulting photos or videos for commercial purposes.

Post your pictures of the Terminal on social media. Use #ShareGCT, and we may choose to share your picture on Instagram!

Applications for the Grand Central Holiday Fair are posted on the website around April every year. Applications are typically due in early June. Sign up for the weekly email to find out when the Holiday Fair application becomes available and for other happenings at the Terminal.
